Kyang

Chief Investment Officer

Kyang Rinaldo Yung is Chief Investment Officer of Gamma Waves Partners, where he leads investment strategy and portfolio construction across sports, sports technology, and sports-adjacent intellectual property.

He is also the co-founder of Coalition Capital, an investment platform backed by family offices and private investors—often technology entrepreneurs themselves—who value the privilege of choice and a direct connection to company and founder stories, rather than investing through traditional venture capital funds.

Across nearly two decades, Kyang has invested from seed stage through IPO and backed several unicorns. His approach is hands-on and patient, with a strong emphasis on building resilient, high-quality businesses solving real-world problems over short-term valuation optimisation.

Prior to Gamma Waves, Kyang was a Partner at INKEF Capital, where he co-managed a €500 million fund investing across early-stage technology and biotechnology companies.

Earlier in his career, he was globally responsible for M&A and minority investments at PayU, the global fintech arm of Prosus, executing transactions across four continents. He previously worked as a growth equity investor at HPE Growth Capital, and began his career in investment banking in London and Hong Kong.
